Awareness on adolescent Obesity

On account of World Obesity Day, an awareness program is planned by the Department of General Medicine, Sri Manakula Vinayagar Medical College and Hospital, Puducherry, India, for the adolescent students of Bharata Devi English High School, Madagadipet, Puducherry.

An interactive talk on obesity and its consequences on health will be discussed with the school children through interactive cartoons. Students between age group 10-16 years will participate in the event. Dr. Kawiraj, Senior Resident, Dr Sravya Nathella, Senior Resident, Department of General Medicine Sri Manakula Vinayagar Medical College and Hospital will handle the session.
