Doctors from the Center for treatment of obesity, UCCS, will talk to citizens in the Amphitheatre of University Clinical Center of Serbia. Slogan of the event is: "Let's talk about obesity without of bias and judgment" Our endocrinologists Prof Mirajana Šumarac and prof Snežana Polovina will discuss about obesity today, treatment options and pharmacotherapy of obesity. Dr Jelena Gligorijević, nutrition specialist, will explain the importance of nutrition in prevention and treatment of obesity. Dr Jelena Popović, psychiatrist, will talk about weight bias, stigma and discrimination and Dr Ognjan Skrobic, surgeon, will give information about bariatric surgery. We are hoping to record whole event, so that larger number of citizens from ex Yugoslav republics, will be able to learn important facts about prevention and treatment of obesity.
